Dr Dhaygude, your care for my mum Rose, 88, who has lived with CKD4 and more, for 14 years, is exemplary. She is now on palliative care, surprisingly not for CKD but suspected lung cancer (as a non-smoker), decompensated heart failure and so much more. Your kindness and compassion has earned you a very special place in her heart - the bit still working! - and even with time running out you signed off today's consultation with the hope of seeing her in 3 months. You are both remarkable.
