I would like to thank everyone behind the Young Adult Kidney Weekend - the staff, the volunteers, and all of the Young Adult kidney patients that have attended. I first went in 2015 when I felt very depressed and isolated, and it was life-changing to meet people in the same situation as me, dealing with similar issues, and it impacted my entire outlook. Without that first trip, I would not be the person I am today.
