Thank you to the wonderful stranger who donated their kidney to my husband on 5th April 2022 as part of the paired/pooled living donor scheme. Your kindness has given us our life back and a future to look forward to. I hope the person who received my kidney on the same day has also been blessed with a successful transplant and can live their life to the full. To the wonderful NHS staff who make these operations happen, thank you so much. You change lives and make futures possible xx
